New Private Learner accounts receive 10 minutes of free tutoring time. This free trial is limited to one per person and may not be abused by creating multiple accounts.
After the free trial, continued use requires purchasing Credits. Credits are:
Current pricing is displayed on the Credits page. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect Credits already purchased.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (such as curriculum documents, study materials, and briefing files). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Conversation transcripts and AI-generated responses are provided for your personal educational use. You may use these for study, self-reflection, and assessment purposes.
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by HigherEd-AI Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

The AI tutors provided through the Service are designed to assist with learning but have important limitations:

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, contact us at info@hied.ai.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe such action is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any unused Credits on Private Learner accounts are non-refundable. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
